I’m Nicole Hull, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I created the Raising Cool Kids Podcast for one simple reason: because parents like us deserve better.

As a mom of children with IEPs, I’ve been where you are—sitting in meetings, questioning decisions, trying to decipher complicated laws, and wondering if anyone is truly listening. The journey through the special education system can feel lonely, overwhelming, and unfair. I know, because I’ve lived it.

But I’m also an attorney, a school board member, and an educator—and I use every piece of that experience to advocate fiercely for families like yours.

I started Raising Cool Kids to share the stories, tools, and truths that empower families. I want to make sure no parent ever feels the way I did—confused, silenced, or stuck. Whether you’re new to the world of IEPs or a seasoned advocate, this show is for you.
